Film score composer | Video game music composer | Philippines
Music that makes the story stay.
I write original scores for films, trailers, promos and video games. From a quiet emotional cue to a full cinematic build, every piece is shaped around the world, rhythm and feeling of the project.

What I compose
A score should feel part of the world, not added on top of it.
Film & short films
Themes, underscoring, tension and transitions that support the performances and emotional shape of each scene.
Trailers & promos
Focused builds, rhythmic edits, hits and memorable musical ideas designed around picture and pacing.
Video games
Loop-ready music, character themes, ambience and adaptive stems that help a game world feel coherent and alive.
Selected listening
A few different sides of my work.
Romance, playful fantasy and cinematic world-building each ask for a different musical language.
Maybe in Spring
Warm, reflective writing for scenes that need tenderness and movement without becoming overly dramatic.
Sticky and Slimy
Playful suspense and darker color for unusual creatures, strange places and stylized game worlds.
How the work moves
Clear process. Space for creative discovery.
Brief and references
We define the story, audience, emotional direction, timing, deliverables and usage.
Theme and direction
I develop the musical language and share an early direction before the full production moves ahead.
Score and delivery
The music is refined to picture and delivered as agreed: masters, alternate mixes and stems when needed.
About the composer
“I care about what the audience should feel before I decide what the music should sound like.”
I am Godwayne Songalia, a film score composer in the Philippines. My work moves between cinematic storytelling, soundtrack releases, trailer energy and music for game worlds.
I work remotely and keep the process practical: clear communication, honest scope, useful revisions and files that fit the production workflow.
