Godwayne portfolio is where I share selected work in film music, trailer scoring, promo music, and video game composition.
I compose original music for films, trailers, promos, and video games. This page brings together selected work from my SoundCloud, Spotify, and YouTube, along with featured pieces that show how I approach story, atmosphere, emotion, and movement through music.
Some tracks are built around cinematic emotion. Others lean into playful character, suspense, fantasy, or game-world immersion. No matter the format, my goal is always the same: to write music that supports the project and gives it a stronger identity.
Some projects need subtle underscoring. Others need tension, movement, scale, or loop-ready structure. My goal is always the same: to create music that supports the project and gives it a stronger identity.

Selected Work
Maybe In Spring
A softer, more reflective piece built around warmth, romance, and gentle cinematic feeling. This kind of track fits scenes that need tenderness, light movement, and emotional clarity without becoming overly dramatic.
Sticky and Slimy
This piece leans into darker fantasy and playful suspense. It works well for strange worlds, creature-driven moments, or scenes that need texture, mood, and a slightly mischievous edge.
Frogs And A Hole
A character-driven cue with a playful identity. Pieces like this are useful for quirky storytelling, stylized visuals, and animated or game-inspired environments.
Woody Adventure
Built with motion and curiosity in mind, this kind of track fits exploration, light adventure, and world-building. It is especially suited for family-friendly visuals, indie games, or whimsical sequences.
Live
A more direct and immediate piece that can suit performance-driven visuals, dramatic movement, or scenes that need a stronger rhythmic presence.
Pon-Pon
A playful and stylized cue that suggests character, bounce, and a lighter visual tone. This kind of writing can work well in games, short-form videos, or animated storytelling.
Spotify Releases
My Spotify page includes official releases and soundtrack-oriented work, including:
- A Travelling Merchant
- Mother (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
- Perya (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
- Saryn’s Molt
These releases reflect the side of my work that is more complete, release-ready, and soundtrack-focused, whether for film, world-building, or emotionally driven listening.
What I Like to Write
I enjoy writing across a range of moods and formats:
- emotional film cues
- suspense and dark fantasy textures
- playful character themes
- trailer and promo builds
- immersive music for games
- soundtrack pieces with strong atmosphere
Trailer and Promo Music
Trailer and promo work needs a different kind of energy. It has to move quickly, hold attention, and build impact without losing musical shape. When I write for trailers or promotional content, I think in terms of timing, rhythm, transitions, and emotional lift.
Whether the piece needs a dark cinematic build, a polished modern pulse, or something more dramatic and thematic, I shape the music around what the visual edit needs most.
Video Game Music
For video games, I think about mood, immersion, and replay value. The music has to feel connected to the world of the game while still working over repeated listens. Depending on the project, that might mean menu loops, atmospheric cues, thematic writing, or more cinematic material.
I enjoy working on music that helps define the experience of a game and gives its world a stronger identity.
My Approach
Every project starts with one question: what should this feel like?
From there, I build the music around the emotional direction, visual rhythm, and overall tone of the piece. Some projects need restraint. Others need movement, tension, scale, or clarity. I try to follow what the story needs instead of forcing one style onto everything.
My work blends cinematic themes, emotional underscoring, modern production, and game-ready structure depending on the format and creative goal.
